Kandava Roman Catholic Church
The church was opened in 2003 in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The parishioners converted the house into a church for free.
The works were begun in 1998 owing to German st. Boniface union by getting the dwelling house. The Building is the 18th century monument of architecture therefore it was forbidden to change the outside look. The tower with bells was built next to the church, which offers a beautiful view of the city. Inside there is 19th century altar with two rotary altar pieces - icons - Resurrection of Christ and a copy of the Virgin Guadalupe icon from Mexico. The church is adorned with stained-glass windows, balcony which rests on wooden columns and massive organ.
